My 3d printing photoblog

Print made by me. Most done with meshmixer supports and no raft on a MakerBot replicator 5th generation. Buying a 3d printer is like getting a RC model helicopter, you have to learn new skills and spend time, but in the end it is a rewarding experience.

WoodFill

Here is my 40mm yoda at 340 micron layer height and retract settings as per colorfabb directions
Nice very cardboard like texture. Lovely for architecture and other model and mockup applications. Got a whole roll of this stuff - and some nice XT and ABS. So stay tuned for more tests.
