My 2 surviving extruders are at 0 z offset (nut just 4/3 turn over thread transition)
Print made by me. Most done with meshmixer supports and no raft on a MakerBot replicator 5th generation. Buying a 3d printer is like getting a RC model helicopter, you have to learn new skills and spend time, but in the end it is a rewarding experience.

More ABS on the 5th gen desktop
This is a nice material. It warps a bit bit there are way around it. I am printing a bunch of yoda's for acetone vapour polish experiment. .15mm layers 15mm/s outline 33%infill at 240C
